At the risk of getting flamed, here's what I do....If I soak the beet pulp at all, it is only for about 15 minutes or so. I also feed it dry to the old mule who won't eat anything that might even be damp. My horses get it dry sometimes too. My vet told me it was okay and I have fed dry beet pulp for a long time and no problems. You will hear horror stories about not soaking it for eons, but this is just my experience..........mb
