[RC] refusing entry - Ridecamp Guest

Answering Kathy's question about a ride manager refusing entry to a ride:
A few years ago there were a couple of young women who entered our ride and got
into a very abusive argument with some hikers. (This was reported by other
riders who were extremely upset and appologetic to the hikers). I had spent a
lot of time at the ride meeting telling riders how important it was to be
friendly and well mannered - it was very upsetting to hear that they had "blown
it". I called the parks and appologized for our riders - then wrote a letter
to each of these competitors requesting that they never return to our ride. I
heard via the grape vine that they were insulted, but never returned - and as
far as I know, never continued on with endurance. Which isn't necessarily a
bad thing considering their poor behavior.
If I understand the rules correctly, ride managers are given the option if not
accepting an entry.
