[RC] Assistance for Ride managers - New and otherwise - Michael Maul

In response to:"What advise/guidance/assistance does AERC provide to ridemanagers? Do they have any publications, or clinics for RMs? Do they provide any assistance in locating ride vets, or other resources?
********************************************************
You might want to take a look at the AERC home page - specifically the Ride managers page.

Look under the Ride managers pulldown menu in the green bar at

http://www.aerc.org/

This includes a Ride Managers handbook, a list of AERC members who are vets in your region, software, all the forms you need, and much more.

The main page is at

http://www.aerc.org/RideManagers_Forms.asp

There's a lot of very useful info in the handbook at

http://www.aerc.org/upload/RideManager.pdf

If there's something a RM needs - it's likely to be there.

There are 2 ways to win at this sport. You take a horse and race him for a
short time and then find a new horse or you can take one horse , do the
homework and spend many miles and years enjoying that horse.
