There is a fellow in Vacaville that is great. I used him for my two custom saddles and also our Placer County SAR Mounted Unit went down for fittings. He has a professional gauge for the best fit. You can then take these measurements to any saddle maker in the world, or fax them, and get a perfect fit. His name is Giovanni Zappeta. He owns Castleberry Saddle Shop.
