Heh, heh…don’t have to be foals.  Magic lies down in the pasture a lot…and doesn’t get up when you approach.  He will actually put his head on your lap if your scratch him in just the right spot…and roll over with all four feet up to have his tummy scratched…..and I didn’t get him till he was 4 ½!  It’s called bonding and trust!  Lots of deep sighs and grunts!  <grin>

That's funny.  It is interesting what they learn as foals.  My current filly, 3 months, has decided she likes her belly rubbed.  I had been leaning over her back and scratching her under there and she just goes into raptures.  Last night, I went into her stall and she was laying down on her chest.  I started to scratch her and she rolled over half on her back so I could reach her belly!!  I was so cracking up - she reminded me of a dog.  It's going to be wild if she still does this when she's grown!
