Don't know if the OD was the first to offer a Cavalry Ride or
not but i'd think so. Wayne Botts (Bless his Soul) and Pete Fields (former
USAEast Chef d Keep))were the originators i do believe and after Wayne died, it
was Pete who sponsored the Sterling Silver Pins made in the form of a
flag, and i don't know if Pete is still giving the pins as completion or
not. I have 2, one on Jose Dante (79) and one on BayMar (?), and
never 'Won' and have managed to loose both. It takes more than just a
horse... it takes a Team, and its another form of pure heroin. tom
