[RC] trailer flooring question - Glenda R. Snodgrass

Can anyone say whether a bit of bounce in wooden trailer flooring is a safety issue if the wood is not rotting?

I am borrowing a trailer for an upcoming trip, and many of the boards in the flooring appear to have buckled a bit, so they bounce a bit underfoot when I step across them. I have poked them well with a screwdriver and they do not appear to be rotting at all. I wonder whether the vertical play is a safety problem, if it could cause the boards to break when they hit the metal supports underneath, or whether the horse's weight on the boards will hold them down so that they don't bounce, or whether it's just not an issue.

Any expert opinions?
