[RC] Grand Island-Rapid River Conditions - Kari HanesAs I'm trying to look ahead to my next ride adventure, I'm wondering about the trail at the Grand Island ride. I'm competing barefoot (no, I don't mean to start another debate!) and would like to know if this is a rocky/rough terrain, mixed, sandy, etc. If it's too rough, I'll look to Hopkins Creek as my next ride. I'm also nervous about that darn Mackinac bridge!! Has anyone had problems with their larger trailers and the awful wind gusts I've heard about? I'm hoping to have our stud ready by then and talk my hubby into riding as well. Is there plenty of spots to leave buckets the night before?
