[RC] Reminder on Weight Division and region Changes to all AERC members - Michael Maul

To all AERC members,

May 31 is the last date for region and weight division changes in the 2004 ride season. You should check what your current status is at

http://www.doublejoy.com/erol/aerc/lookup/lookup.asp

by entering your last name and then choosing the correct link from the list at the lower left. This will also show you the horses listed as owned and ridden by you.

The rule concerning points and mileage is:

If a member moves to a different AERC Region prior to June 1, all points and mileage for the ride season will be recorded in the Region to which that member moves; in a move on or after June 1, all points and mileage for the ride season remain in the original Region.

You can change your region/wt division at your members page http://www.doublejoy.com/erol/aerc/mbr/ , by emailing the AERC office at aerc@xxxxxxxxxxxx, or calling the toll free number 866-271-AERC

============================================================
The very essence of our sport is doing the trail as quickly as practicable,
while keeping one's horse fit to continue. Taking the clock out of the
equation makes it another sport altogether. The challenge is how to keep
the sport what it is while honing our skills (both as riders and as those
in control roles) in detecting where "the edge" is for each horse so that
we don't cross it. ~ Heidi Smith
