[RC] Southern California-Lion Attack Reported - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Micki Turney Horseraser@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== In my home town of Lake Forest (nestled against the Saddleback Mountains) there was a lion attack on a mountain biker reported on CNN this morning. This whole area (Aliso Viejo and Trabuco Canyon)used to bethe best running and riding in the area. Its really a ahame that the young lady was attacked, but did the developers even think for one minute how the fast growth would affect the area? My heart goes out to all equestrians down in this area... My suggestion to you is.... MOVE!!Run for the hills!!! you are fighting a losing battle!!There is too much money at stake as Newport and the outer lying ares have become the mecca for a lot of big businesses. I also spent my summers riding my bike from Irvine to Balboa Peninsula, eating strawberries from the strawberry fields along the way. Now I can no longer find those fields as they have been replaced by tall buildings...
