Are you serious?  Lack of drivers for Applegate-Lassen has been the death
knell for this wonderful point-to point ride, both when Lavone was managing
and when Lud and I were.  If we could get a few drivers lined up, we would
love to manage this ride again.  But when only 5 riders sign up, we can't do
it for that.

Now I am inspired!  Maybe you all have finally found a way for me to
actually make some money from Endurance Riding.
I could be a driver for the upcoming XP, bring my rig and motorbike. I
would drive rig(s) to the next site, ride the motorbike back for mine or
others. Provide water, haul feed, cook? Basic shoeing. (Won't shovel
shit though..) What are my bids?
Heck, I might even establish a staffing service, I could provide similar
drivers for only a 40% commission.  (As I have to feed them.) But I do
get a discount from In-And-Out.
Hmm. Maybe I can set up bunks in the back of the LQ and charge them

lodging.


I'll try to get Maryben as one of my drivers. We could ride and tie back
to rigs for ours!!!  Or I would let her use the motorbike. LOOK OUT!

Oh! Rig cleaning service! I know how trashed mine got out in the desert
for weeks. I could use my generator (a quiet one) and vacuum. Let's see,
at what some things were charged to us last time I could charge $100 for
cleaning a rig.  Oh, another thought. Laundry service!
If this could be an all cash basis we might have a deal.
