I use one of the breech washing detergents sold in
<www.DressageExtensions.com>  I also spray the material part with
scotchguard after each washing.  I compete in Equissentials during the
summer and wash them the same way and once my current pair of Toasties
wear out, I'll probably change over to the winter Equissentials Arctic
breech since they are a little tougher material and they recycle your
leathers onto new fabric when you wear out the fabric.  Cindy
