Re: [RC] Playing with Timex GPS - Elite

I've attached my receiver to the front of my helmet, just ran the strap in
and out of the vent holes. That way it will have the best view possible.
Only downside, if I ever catch a limb on the front of my helmet, it's going
to get hit.

How does this work with a horse - as opposed to a human being and
how/where would you attach it?

It works well on horse also. Best to strap unit to your leg or front of
saddle. It seems to slide down if you strap it to your arm, unless it is
so tight your fingers turn blue. I made a small bag to attach to my
saddle for mine. The unit fits snug in bag and has hole in front for
button and light to show and a V strap to close bag. Be sure not to
block end of unit where it receives signal. Have fun with it.
