Hawk (the Mighty Morgan) and me decided
it was time to support this ride held
at one goreous faclity Maryland. I
had heard not many good comments
on the trail markings and or the overall
mileage but the rides been heavily
suopported and around for a few
years now so figured they may have
gotten their act together!
The trail was actually overmarked you
would have had to work very hard to
get lost. However after all these miles
(over 4000) Hawk and me both know when
50 miles is up and this one was a mite
longish. Probably closer to 55-57 would
be my guess which is fine my be BUT
than it should be sanctioned as such.
Regardless of the sloppy conditions
over 90 horses competed. Management, vets,
and the help were "sunny" thruout the day!
I would love to come back and try the 100
in October but a few kinks would need to be
workout first! Mary C

Of course things aren't perfect, perfect doesn't exist on this earth.
Doesn't mean we won't go on trying to get better at what we do. Besides, if
everything was perfect today, what would you do tomorrow? Slamming each
other doesn't get anything done.
