Re: [RC] Geld during a rising moon (?!) - heidi

An old wive's tale,or not? Purportedly, the amount of
bleeding,fluid,swelling,etc is much less,and healing is quicker,than
on a falling moon.(?)

I had clients who swore by that, and who always scheduled their
castrations by the moon sign. I didn't argue with them--it was their
nickel. Personally, I never saw one whit of difference, and for the
record, the worst bleeder I ever had was done "at the right sign" of the
moon...

Personally, I think good surgical technique, quiet disposition (allowing a
quieter induction of anesthesia), and some dietary variables (clover
causing lack of clotting, for instance) have FAR more effect than the
moon!
