[RC] spring tie vs hi tie - Ed Kilpatricki have the spring ties, two of them. they work very, very well. never had a minutes trouble with it and no noise either. the tension in the spring is real strong, so the horse learns quickly that there is no advantage to pulling on it. the hi tie has some give in the fiberglass rod, so it is really the same principle. it is kind of like the ford? chevy? dodge? argument. you wont go wrong with either one. beats the heck out of toilet paper fences!!! ed
