Re: [RC] cavessons - Ed & Wendy Hauser

As I understand a cavesson is supposed to hold the mouth closed so the horse
does not "evade" the bit or allow it to be pulled through the mouth.  As I
started out riding in the western tradition, I feel that horses that are
properly trained do not need a strap to hold the mouth closed.
