If they have LMF feeds in your area, LMF makes T(imothy)A(lfala)C(orn)O(ats) 
aka TACO  they make it in two pellet sizes, one about the same size as rabbit 
pellets, the other about 5/8 inch thick and 1-2 inches long.  I used to buy 
Apple-asses for treats, until I discovered that Apple-asses cost about $10. 
or more for 10 lbs, and TACO is about $9. for 50 lbs.  Horses don't know the 
difference, and it's a more or less complete feed.  You can carry a bunch in 
a fanny pak and the horse just thinks she's getting all sorts of treats!  
Only problem is they are dry, so you have to make sure they don't get hoggish 
and choke.  jeri
