[RC] static shock - Randy and Cheryl Winter

Ok, for the millionth time today while I was grooming one of our horses, I
static shocked her. All of our horses hate it, and causes them to be
frightened. I have tried spraying the brushes with static guard spray,
spraying me with SG, standing them on rubber mats while grooming, not
touching them with my free hand while brushing, but nothing seems to help.
I do not like to make them be afraid of being shocked. while grooming. Any
ideas on how to prevent this. We live in a very dry climate which I know
contributes to this. Ideas from any of you out there?

Cheryl
