The Head Vet and all of the other Vets are either employees of, or contractors to, the Ride Management. They have no association with the AERC except some form of membership in the Conference. That aside, I think this was the direction that Dr. Baldwin was going with his resolution concerning pre-agreement to open records for education ... which was passed at the last mid-year meeting. The costs of any post-event (be it either treatment and/or death) evaluations might be borne by AERC.
