[RC] Crash and Burn - Magnumsmom

The accident report investigations for AOPA, the
Aircraft Owners association, are all printed and
available online. The point is to educate small aircraft
owners to hopefully avoid future accidents. So often
these accidents are due to a combination of factors,
not just a single problem. (John Denver, for instance.
Who out there figured he had just been drinking again...
until the accident report came out?)

There is a whole investigative team. There is a lot
more money in AOPA. A crashed small plane can
affect more people than those who are involved (say,
if a small plane crashed into your house).

HOWEVER, the point is to educate pilots. Educate.
Where have we heard that word before?

Yes, I think the AERC should have an investigative
team and I think that the non-pashionate results can
be printed in Endurance News. We can start with the
deaths that actually happen at rides. I've heard
mumblings about how this was supposed to have been
in place by now. If that is indeed true, then we may
finally have the funds and perhaps the manpower to
make these investigations and reports a reality.

There is precedence in other organizations.
