The incident I cited was also nearly 20 years ago. The point here in response to the query about conditional continuing on the trail is that that USED to be the norm, we collectively learned better, and we hope we remain smart enough to benefit from the education of our collective mistakes and not be railroaded into repeating them by people who are not cognizant of the history of same.
