This reminds me that years ago I had a friend who was a skydiver. In their magazine, they would have articles about the accidents that happened in that sport. These were usually fatal accidents, and the articles would be about the why they happened, the mistakes made and other pertinent information. I thought it was pretty creepy but can see it may have served a good purpose.
