JUNIOR RIDERS - CLARIFICATION

PLEASE NOTE: THE FEI RULES DEFINE ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 AS A JUNIOR. THEREFORE IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YOU MUST FOLLOW THE PROCEDURES OUTLINED BELOW.

Any Junior rider who meets the FEI age requirement and has permission from AERC to compete as an adult shall be permitted to compete at a U.S. FEI ride. (To obtain AERC permission to compete as an adult, a Junior must have 500 miles and parental permission to compete un-sponsored.) Juniors must obtain written permission from the Federation by faxing or mailing a letter of the request and a copy of AERC’s permission letter to: USA Equestrian Director of Endurance / fax 859 231-6662 / Kentucky Office.
