What a hoot!  My unregistered TWH/Racking gelding was trained by
a non-gaited horse trainer (fprmer arab trainer) as a pleasure
horses, never had any special trimming, shoeing, devises or
training.  At liberty he trots, paces, running-walks, caters,
cross-canters (does that under saddle too, unfortunately), and
some undefineable variations on all of the above...

Never mind the fact that young foals often exhibit their gaitedness right
from birth....
