Re: [RC] RE- senior horse feed - Bette Lamore

Hi Merryben
The only problem I have with Purina's Senior Equine is that it is sooo full of molasses. I have a tough time believing that so much sugar is good for my old gelding. I found a feed mill that makes it's own older horse feed in Templeton and it has all the nutrition but not so much sugar.
What do you think, susan--- is there a little too much "candy" in the Purina version? My 33 year old gelding likes it, but then he also has been know to eat my daughter's hamburger, too ;-)
