[RC] SE-E Issue - Roger Rittenhouse

A point to consider. The Vit E supplied in the powder E-Se
supplements will oxidize in short order, days to weeks, and be of no major
value. Dr
Sarah Rulston made that point at a lecture this weekend.

The Se will remain and be available.

The suggestion given - as was done by Sue G- to feed the human gel caps.
Feed 500 to 1000 IU per day. Increase that up to 5000 IU based on use.
I give 5000IU for 3 days after a race/ride.
I get 1000iu gell caps at those discount sundray stores. May be out of
date but real cheap.

While I feed a powder E-Se supplement for day to day use, I use
MEGA-SEL liquid during the high use season.

I try to feed the standard 1mgc dose per day for normal maintenance
use. I increase to 3mgc per day the week before and after a ride.

I have not done any blood test for years. I think I will do so this
year, just to see if I am dosing enough.
