Re: [RC] robert e. lee and traveller-american saddlebred - Ed Kilpatrick

hi truman,  fascinating facts about paul revere!   i would like to study about the different types/breeds of horses that have made their mark in history.     know of a good book on that subject?     i read somewhere that napoleon bonaparte once covered 75 miles on horseback in 3 hours and 15 minutes!  retreating, perhaps?  obviously in a hurry to get somewhere.   the horse was named montevideo,  an andalusian stallion.   cowboy ed
