[RC] [Guest] FL Riding Trails/Niceville etc. - Ridecamp Moderator

Jean Wonser jean767@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Florida is just one big riding trail, with some
consideration for urban sprawl in South and Central areas.
We have hills, flatlands, sand, clay, swamps, deserts,--you name it we have it (except for mountains and natural rock). Since it is about 500 miles to the GA line from Miami there is quite a climate variation too.

Check out Flhorsebulletin for many public areas that have horse
trail. In addition many riding areas are not on that site but
the locals know where to haul/ride. Many of the timber companies
lease land to hunt clubs that could be prevailed to accept
horse members (out of rifle season).

But on other hand, don't y'al move to Florida because we have
a serious growth problem (for those of us who prefer living in
remote woods, far from anybody).

good luck Mary,
