In fact, when the Longriders started checking with historians and archives which SHOULD contain corroboration for Hopkins' claims, they were told that he was definitely an inventive individual, to say the least.Anyone can write something and then get quoted by another author who is not checking the validity of his/her sources....does that make the original correct, honest, or an authority? Simply being quoted by another author does not confer validity. That's why people have to check original sources...like the government of Aden who have no record whatsoever of such a fanciful race that is claimed to have originated there...and at this point, it was the British running Aden, not those forgetful Arabs.
