[RC] [Guest] Trucks - Ridecamp Moderator

Micki Turney Horseraser@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
My best pulling truck was a 1973 GMC with a 460 steel engine. The thing had headers on it and boy could it move! But because of the headers you could never shut the truck off because the starter would get too hot. I replaced the starter three or four times. Boy those old trucks are really put together well. Rewiring was awful though as there had been several tow packages put on by somebody who did not know what they were doing We had no problems pulling a horse trailer loaded with two horses and all the trimmings that go with a ride. My other truck a Chevy Silverado was fairly decent as well. But the best advice is making sure you have AAA, so in case you break down.
