Re: [RC] [RC] [Guest] Too old / too green? - Ridecamp Moderator

"Laurie Durgin" <ladurgin@xxxxxxx>
I was 43 before I got my first horse(s) and only rode a little as a kid (whenever I could beg, or conjole or save money to get a ride.I took lessons for 3 years and worked at some barns occasionally for lessons. And I even got a green broke and unbroke horse(bitg no no, ) that I am learning to train. Course it takes looooonger and I really firmly suggest you get an experienced calm trained horse, but , heck, got the rest of my life.
Boy wish I was ONLY 28. Then a layoff while horse is recouping wouldn't make my muscles feel like they were starting all over again. :}
