I believe that at least some of our hay in Auburn, CA comes out of Klamath and the mix you are proposing is something I would buy. I like 3 twine bales but I have mine delivered and stacked : ) Of course I have to put out the rat traps because of the grain. I had a rat make a nest in my truck engine and it chewed through wiring. Yes I use the truck almost every day, it was a well traveled rat.
