Yesterday I rode and my Crates caused some pretty dramatic dry spots on both sides of my mare's back...below the spine, about 4 inches behind the whither. The spots were about the size of my hand. We did 2 25's within the past few months with no dry spots so I don't know what is up.
I have changed nothing with this horse, same pad, etc. Her body has changed quite a bit. We've been seriously conditioning for over 6 months.
Anyone who wants to see the pics to see if the saddle is bridging or if they are pressure spots I'd appreaciate it.
