[RC] Pat Schmitt visitation/funeral - rides2farThe visitation for Pat Schmitt, wife of Otis Schmitt DVM will be at the Valley Chapel of the Chattanooga Funeral Home on Bonny Oaks Drive (Bonny Oaks exits off of I-75 just North of Chattanooga, from 2-5 Sunday, Nov. 9. Funeral will be at 5:00 Sunday. If you're headed North on I-75 you take the Bonny Oaks/Old Lee Hwy. exit and the funeral home is just right there on your right next to the huge Federal Express building. I doubt the lady at that desk had heard the question "does your parking lot have room in case someone stops by with a large horse trailer" (since many will pass that way on their way home from Skymont). But she was very gracious and said they have a large building site next door and there's ample room. Many of us are headed out to the Skymont Ride near Chattanooga this morning. Otis has always been our home town vet and has helped the local endurance riders for over 20 years. I'm sure Otis & Pat will be on everyone's mind and in our prayers.
