I saw Shari last weekend and she was crewing for the Kanavy
horses. I've known her for over 20 years and she got a horse from me that
i named Women pronounenced Vomen (WolaXMenes) and she named her Morgan.
Well Morgan had a baby and she is now 4 or so and Shari was out pleasure riding
her on Thursday and the baby reared and rolled on Shari. Shari is in the
UVA hospital with a broken collarbone, pelvis and ribs and unknown internal
damage. If there is a point here, its that trauma can happen anywhere,
anytime with horses and there's nothing we can to to prevent it sometimes.
