[RC] Emergency evacuation centers, Calif. - beth glover

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers from ridecampers to us southern Californians. My friend in Devore, her house is Okay....her back yard shed--run in apparently burned and a neighbor's house burned but she is okay.

I hear of an evacuation center for horses open in Chino.. It is El Prado Equestrian , at 16629 Johnson/ at Pine in Chino phone number 909-597-5757.

I am collecting a list of these places with phone numbers and I'm gonna put that in my club's disaster phone tree.

There was a nurse here from Alta Loma, and her horse was evacuated from a stable on Cornelian, and now is home again, the stable is fine. I still haven't heard if the ranch way up on Archibald burned up.

Good luck everyone.

Beth
