[RC] [Guest] Have a "Heart to Heart" With Ol' Shep - Ridecamp Moderator

Frank Solano DVeritas@xxxxxxx
It is interesting how, as an organization, we seem to want to help the horses in danger of dying at rides, but when the chronically hauled, the chronically injected show up to eek out one more ride, one more important distance award not much is said or done.
Seems a bit hypocritical to me.
How many horses do you know who have to have hocks injected to participate in this sport?
I know of quite a few.
I think they are probably in pain in the rear end, so they get injected with HA and, lo and behold, they're fine to go to endurance rides.
There are aspects concerning our sport which, if they could speak to us, a lot of horses would love to sit down and chat about.
Let's not wait until they are in danger of dying to listen to 'em or to at least ask their opinion on some important stuff.
