[RC] LD's etc. - mrsd

After reading all of the wonderful posts of the last few days I have come to
the conclusion that a record book for each horse entered in AERC rides is a
very
good thought. Have been doing some rides since 1971 nad of course , being
perfect have never made a mistake. My LD career consist of being pulled at
Tevis at varioius milages too many times to count. Viginia City 1X

I am going to start my own record book and keep track of feed, shoeing, training
rides, problems, and attempt to make an honest asessment of the horses condition.
Make notes of Temperature before and after rides, pulse , recovery etc. etc.
DOES ANYONE HAVE A COPY OF THE AUSSIE BOOK.?

Do I really remember all of the problems that have raised their ugly heads? NO
WAY.

I have seen many of the great horses in the past 33 plus years and they are
superb with thinking riders who really understand what they are doing and
asking
of their mounts.
