[RC] [Guest] A year of LD's? - Ridecamp Moderator

Skyla gulpyfish@xxxxxxx
That would be most interesting. What would constitute a "year" of doing LD's before being allowed to move up, or from 50's to 100's? Many riders only do a couple or so rides a year, others do many, many rides. There is a saying, "practice does NOT make perfect, PERFECT practice makes perfect" (or close). Just because someone has been "doing" something for X amount of years, could just as easily mean that they are really well practiced at doing it wrong! Not all are blessed with common sense, the ability to "read" a horse, the easier nature to not care about placing, or the desire to educate themselves. Then there is the other side of it, with wonderful or uncommonly gifted horsemen/women. Just a little two cents from me, now I shall go back to my fishbowl.
