Thanks for the input! Encouraging data.

Now we need to do what Truman suggested and get data
from across a number of rides by having collecting info
key parameters at a ride (e.g. pulse, weather, ...)
per Truman's email and see what picture emerges.

Just came back from Llano Estacado in Amarillo, Tx. 60
pulse was required...on first day everyone who started in
both 25 and 50 mile finished...no pulls! On the second day
only 2 or 3 pulls in each milage division, none of which
were critical. I *think* all of the horses that were ridden
both days also completed both days.
