[RC] The Hallelujah Benefit Ride - Lucie HancockHi!If you haven't made up your mind to ride with us, I would like to invite you to come. The trails criss cross 12,700+acres of equestrian trails managed and maintained by the Camden Hunt, who are giving up a fox-hunting weekend(a cub hunt) for us to ride their trails. We have a "new" loop of 20 miles so that you longer distance riders will not have to repeat the same two loops as often as last year. The fos hunters like their trails "manicured" so there are not any "head bumpers" or "knee-knockers", unless someone missed them in August and September when they were all out cleaning up to prepare for their fox hunting season. There is plenty of room, and we have some nice prizes that have been donated. Juniors (8 to 16 years old) ride free. We give our profits to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and the Kershawe County Animal Shelter, both of which are worthy causes. We have an excellent crew of volunteers who are helping, and are looking forward to a great ride. Last year all the 75 milers finished before dark, so even the patches of sand did not slow anybody down. We offer the same four distances, and it's always a lot of fun. Copme on to Camden and ride!
