[RC] 100 Milers - Rides 2 Far

Good strategy, Frank. Personally, I divide 100's into a series of
short "training rides" in my mind--I just "condition" from vet check >
to vet check.

Personally, I find that letting my paranoia work *for* me is nice. I just
ride along thinking..."He feels a little off...maybe the vets will pull
me at the next check and I can quit! :-D Then you trot out and the vet
says he looks good (vets never worry you when you want them to) and so
you tell yourself, "O.K. I'm happy I guess, I get to keep riding", then
when you're out there tired again there's always that *hope* that
*chance* that maybe the vet will let you quit at the end of *this* loop!
g< The less you want it at the time, the more likely you are to get that
completion. :-)
