[RC] [Guest] Knee pain and saddle design - Ridecamp Moderator

Ray O'Donohue rno2m@xxxxxxxxxxxx
Don't claim to know the cause of your knee pain, but suggest you try other saddles, other saddle pads, other stirrup leathers,half-turn looping of the s-leathers for a straight hanging stirrup, different fore-aft positioning of the stirrup leathers, and especially suggest you avoid a western rigging, western stirrup leathers, and any saddle pad thickness at the sides of the horse. The main thing is,do NOT assume anything any saddle maker does is done for a good reason. It may be done a certain way because the saddle maker is not interested in the details of saddle design.
