[RC] Inflammation of Synovial Fluid?? - Angie Orr

Has anyone ever had a vet diagnose their horse with something called 'chronic inflammation of the synovial fluid surrounding the tendons'? I had my mare ultrasounded today and the doc said the tendons look perfect but that the swelling is caused from the inflammation of the synovial fluid. Any info is appreciated.
