I am the ride manager for this ride.
Several question have been asked.
1. You do not have to cross any streets or roads once you leave the 
stockyards.  The ride is along the river on wide groomed trails.  The 
levees of the river give good insulation from the city.  It is a great open 
ride with some trees in some of the areas.
2. The camp area is in the stockyards on a very large roadbase material 
parking lot.  This lot will be reserved for the endurance ride only.  It is 
not a cement lot.  There will be lighting and security patrol.  You are 
remote from Billy Bob's Taffic and other entertainment areas.
3.There are over 50 large 20X20 pens availble at only $5.00 per horse per 
night.  There is indoor stabling at the livery for 48 horses at $22.50 per 
night.  There is a large grass area 300ft X 600 FT that is going to be used 
for the initial vet check and your grazing and exercise.
