[RC] Questions for Darolyn - Rebecca HackworthDarolyn....please accept my condolences....and allow me to ask a few questions to get a more complete picture of this horses history What was his normal feed? Hay type? Grain Type? Amount of Grain and how often given. Vitamin Supplements? Before leaving Texas? During the trip? After arrival? I know he had a "Buddy" issue. How did the cold affect him up to Saturday? I was there and I know how cold it was at night.... What kind of e-lytes were you using and in what amounts? Did you use anything to "cut" them with? Any "carbo charge" type of substance used? Have you used it ON THIS HORSE before. I do not wish to point fingers. I am just looking for any contributing factors, similarities or commonalities among TREATED horses, not just fatalities. Thank you so much for sharing you lose and the history. It may really shed some light on the potential problem.
