[RC] sore in horse's mouth - Scott Johnson

Sorry, this isn't exactly endurance related, but I'm hoping someone can give me advice. One of my mares has a sore in her mouth, on the inside of her lower lip. It's about the size of a nickel and I can't tell you much else because she will not let me look at it, as it's really annoying/painful. I noticed that she was drooling a little when I went out to feed, so after she ate her mush I had a look. Any ideas, maybe a sting or?? She's had allergic reactions to something a couple times in the past so I' m hoping her whole face won't swell up. Thanks for any input........

Dede
