Drought (my well went dry)
Floods
"Dust devils" that are actually mini-tornados that rip roofs off but don't 
get tracked by the weather service because they appear and disappear so quickly
Lightning - I know Truman says Florida is the lightning capital of the 
world, but I've met so many people who have been hit by lightning here or 
have lost livestock to lightning that NM must be a close second.

Just a few things you'd trade for hurricanes.
