[RC] vet drop bags - Jonni Jewell

I am just curious, how "big" of a drop bag y'all use when sending one to a
vet check your crew can not attend. I appreciate the ride taking bags to the
vet check for me, so I am fairly minimalistic, as I hate to think of these
volunteers lugging my bag in and out of the truck or trailer. I send a
baggie of feed, a small partial flake of hay (not any "extra" to be wasted),
a little bowl for the horse to eat his mash out of, something to cover the
horse, depending on weather. If warm, I just send a large towel, if rain in
forecast, I have a water proof cooler. And maybe a couple pieced of tack,
such as splint boots. If rider lunch not provided, then I would pack a
lunch. I don't send a bucket usually, as the ride has a water trough there,
or buckets.

I saw some HUGE crew bags being left to be hauled to the vet checks at the
Bryce Canyon XP. Just what IS in all of those bags? Am I not taking
enough???
